The California Fuel Cell Partnership is a collaboration of organizations, including auto manufacturers, energy providers, government agencies and fuel cell technology companies, that work together to promote the commercialization of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

The U.S. Department of Energy seeks to protect our national and economic security by promoting a diverse supply and delivery of reliable, affordable, and environmentally sound energy. The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy's Hydrogen, Fuel Cells, and Infrastructure Technologies Program works with partners to research, develop, and validate fuel cells and hydrogen production, delivery, and storage technologies for transportation and stationary applications. Also included among the program's priorities are activities to address safety concerns and develop model codes and standards, as well as activities to educate key stakeholders and facilitate market acceptance of hydrogen fuel cell technologies.
