May 17th, 2012 – Webinar - The Path to Commercial Fuel Cell Buses...Applying Lessons From History
Join us for an informative discussion of the commercialization path for fuel cell buses, learning from other recent experiences. This webinar is being hosted by the Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) on behalf of the Federal Transit Administration's (FTA) National Fuel Cell Bus Program and is sponsored by Ballard Power Systems Inc.
Presenters Robert Devine from BAE Systems and Jaimie Levin from AC TransitAlameda-Contra Costa Transit will draw out “lessons learned” and apply them to the world of fuel cell buses.
PRESENTERS
ROBERT DEVINE, Program Manager at BAE Systems will discuss how the world leader in clean, efficient propulsion and power management technology for commercial transport vehicles has leveraged the learnings from diesel-hybrids to enable the fuel cell bus commercial path.
JAIMIE LEVIN, Director of Environmental Technology at AC Transit will discuss the implications for his 12 fuel cell bus demonstration project – one of the largest of its type in the world – and for others.
