Friday, April 19, 2024 - Friday, April 19, 2024

FRIDAY, APRIL 19 AT 12:30PM EDT. Join the first of two H2IQ Hour webinars this month celebrating Earth Day on Friday, April 19, at 12:30 p.m. EDT for an onboard look at the Energy Observer, a zero-emissions laboratory vessel powered by clean hydrogen from seawater with electrolyzers developed through projects funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.

This session will be led by crew members of the Energy Observer: Victorien Erussard, captain and founder, Luc Bourserie, systems engineer, and Beatrice Cordiano, sustainable development and energy expert.

This webinar will explore the vessel from original concept to its seven-year voyage around the world, highlighting life aboard the ship and technologies used to demonstrate a hydrogen-enabled microgrid of renewable energy systems.

The H2IQ Hour will include a 45-minute live presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. A recording of the H2IQ Hour will be available on HFTO's website after the event.
